Here’s a little about me...
I’m originally from Antwerp Belgium, I moved to Johannesburg
South Africa when I was three years old. I now go to Crawford
College in Sandton … I enjoy chilling with my friends
and having a great time …BUT nothing compares to racing,
it’s always the home I run to.
I started racing in 2007. In my first year, i won my club
championship in Zwartkops. In 2008 which was only my second
year of racing, I came second in the SARMC (South African
Rotax Max Challenge) which is a championship of national status.
In 2009 i will be participating in the SARMC series under
the Junior max category.
My goal in life is to be the first competitive female in formula
one. But at the moment I’m just focused on polishing
my karting skills. Look out for some of my races.
Enjoy the website and feel free to roam around. NaOmI…Xxx

SARMC 2009 Round 2
This event took place in killarny, Cape Town.
It would be a challenge for me because of the fact that this
track is not one that I’m not too familiar with, acknowledging
that, the weekend went quite well.
I qualified 6th out of 19 competitors. The first pre- final
heat I started 6th and ended fourth. In the second pre-final
heat, I drove from 6th to first place winning that heat. The
first Final was a 20 lapper and was physically challenging
for all the competitors. In this heat I started 4th and finished
3rd, and in the last race of the weekend I started in first
place, in the beginning of the race I led a few laps then
got overtaken by a competitor which left me in second place.
Soon my kart lost pace because of technicalities and the pack
caught up I ended that race in 6th position. Overall for the
weekend I was 2nd.
